New Steps Dance on Old Footprints

Guess they see plenty of tourists come through here, I deduce from the noticeable absence of hard stares a city slicker like me can expect to draw in a one bar town such as this. Either that, or they are just really into the music. And to be fair, song and booze have an age-old partnership.

Senescence Capers

I have been spending a week of my summer on Cape Cod most of my life.  My mother has been doing the same since she was 12 years old.  There was a chunk of time in my teens and 20s when we instead travelled further afield to explore deserts, tropics and scuba destinations.  These were exciting and memorable trips, but when my babies were small, we returned to The Cape.

Cinco de Hongo

Every few years, Cinco de Mayo falls on a Taco Tuesday. The overlap of the two horological events creates a Tex-Mex eclipse that sends shudders through social media while upheaving the avocado market. This Cinco de Mayo, mercifully, is no such Taco Tuesday. But this Cindo de Mayo promises to get weird.
